Hello Ladies!

How are you all spending your summer? I am working on the next few blog posts! For this post, I am going to review The maybelline blushed nudes eyeshadow palette. This palette created quite a stir and was an instant hit! Thanks to its predecessor, The Nudes Eyeshadow palette.

Priced at โ‚น 899 this palette has 12 beautiful rose gold infused shades with a choice of both, matte and shimmer look for the eyes. Ranging from both cool to mid toned shades, this palette looks absolutely natural on any skin tone. The 12 colour options easily enable you to switch from the soft girl next door look to that bold, sultry look.

The best part about the palette is that it’s extremely beneficial for beginners as it comes with a guide as to how to go about the application. This comes in handy if you have no clue as to how to apply an eye-shadow.

One major drawback of this product is that it is not sufficiently pigmented. Only the bottom 2 shades on the right corner have the right amount of pigmentation. Rest of the shades require a lot layering or application of an eye-primer or a concealer for the colours to truly stand out. If not backed by these three measures, the shades are barely visible. Also, the palette comes without a mirror facility which means if you’re travelling or getting ready away from the comfort of your home, you need to carry a mirror separately.

Now let’s talk about the packaging a bit. I absolutely adore the packaging. It’s a beautiful rose gold coloured palette (standing true to the name) that is sleek and travel friendly. It comes with an eye shadow brush, closes real tight, so you can just throw it in your bag without any worries of the product spoiling. ๐Ÿ˜‰ You can easily carry it just about anywhere due to its sleek design.

Pros:

1. A great deal at โ‚น899 for 12 shades.

2. Can easily experiment with different types of looks.

3. Travel friendly.

3. Will suit all skin tones.

4. Comes with an application guide.

5. Affordable.

6. Smooth Application.

Cons:

1. Not very pigmented.

2. Requires a lot of layering, use of concealer or eye primer for the colours to truly show up.

3. Comes without a mirror.

4. Gets chalky.

I’d give it a 3/5.

That’s about it folks! Tell me how has the review helped you in the comments below. Thanks and see you next week.

  1. I remember when I got this palette a long time ago! It was fairly nice and of course cheap! You should check out the tartelette in bloom palette – little more expensive but amazing shadows! But if you want a little cheaper, definitely check out morphe if you haven’t already. Love their stuff! I have so many suggestions but it’d take forever hahahahaha – great post and blog babe โœจ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’–
