Fusion is very much in trend these days. Be it as simple a look of pairing an Indian Kurti with jeans or pairing antique jewellery with a western outfit to give that boho chic look. It’s there everywhere in the present fashion scenario. Hence, I too decided to give it a shot.
Here I have paired a denim shirt with a flared long skirt. It is a cotton skirt (making it a great option for summers) with kalamkari print. The knot at the bottom of the shirt gave the outfit a smart look. However, another alternative could be to tuck it in.
The one thing that breathes life into the look are these beautiful statement antique temple jewellery jhumkas. Those little round balls at the bottom are ‘ghunghroo’ which give out a melodious sound as you walk just as a payal does.
I decided to leave my hair open, however, a bun would compliment the look better. Also, twirling is the new cool ! 😉 For the accessories I have worn a spiral bracelet in red/yellow colour on one hand and a beautiful metal watch embellished with stones on the other.
Do tell me how you liked the look in the comments below. Until next time 🙂
